Chairman’s 30th Anniversary Message

Dear Friend of The Hamister Group,

On June 1, 1977 I founded my first company with the purchase of an adult home in the Rochester, NY area.  From its humble beginnings, the company transformed itself into one of the top long-term care and sub-acute providers in the United States.  Our significant growth and progress were the result of a firm commitment to excellence in customer service and our early adoption of hotel management techniques within the health care industry.  After a major sale in 1996, the organization gradually evolved into The Hamister Group, Inc., now an established long-term care and hotel management company.

This year we celebrate 30 years of excellence in health care and hospitality.  The Hamister Group could not have achieved this success without the significant contributions of its co-workers and business partners.  I thank my colleagues for their integrity, their honesty, and their passion for putting a smile on the faces of our guests.  The kindness and dedication of Hamister team members has improved the quality of life of millions of people.  I thank our partners for their support and goodwill.  And finally I thank our customers for choosing our related businesses.  We are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you.
