We will also conduct training programs for your staff in order to ensure their professional development.
Financial Services
Our revenue management and maximization experts will focus on achieving superior results for you and your investors. Your assisted living facility will receive support in the preparation of its budget, financial reporting, payments to vendors, payroll services, and the reconciliation of bank accounts.
Our people will help you and your administrator to understand and take advantage of potential opportunities when planning the facility's annual budget. We use industry metrics and PPD (Per Patient Day) in order to produce flow-through. We perform ancillary mark-ups and competitor shops, assist with strategy development, and evaluate costs in comparison to RevPAB (Revenue Per Available Bed).
The Hamister Group, Inc. strongly believes that one should not wait for monthly statements to understand a facility's financial status. We have developed dashboard flash reports that give us an early indication as to what the financial statements will show at the end of the month. This helps managements to react more quickly and to improve standards. We also use labor hour reports, Fair Market Share (FMS), Close Rate Analysis, and monthly management reports to monitor your operation.
Sales Management
We will provide supervision, direction, and leadership to your local sales team. We will work with them to provide training, orientation, and guidance structured toward achieving superior sales activities. We will assist in the development of a comprehensive sales plan and audit its results and protocols. Our specialized web staff provides support in the development of facility web sites, ebrochures on franchise sites, search engine optimization, and permission-based emarketing campaigns.
Quality Assurance
We will conduct quarterly reviews of regulatory compliance standards at your facility. Our internal quality assurance personnel will audit the important drivers of regulatory compliance and quality of life standards. We will also provide confidential hot line access to your staff and customers to assist in the reporting of inappropriate activities.
Workers Compensation and Insurance Management
We are focused on long term results and improvements in the area of workers compensation as well as property and casualty insurance risks. The facilities we operate for our own account currently enjoy a .96 modification rate, among the lowest in the industry. Our programs are effective and deliver long term savings.
Our group will assist your local managers in learning how to provide a safer work environment for your employees. We will also train and monitor your personnel in methods by which they can detect inappropriate utilization of workers' compensation benefits. The Hamister Group, Inc. will review the Experience Modification Factor and set facility objectives. We initiate safety committee meetings, assist in the development of an Early Return To Work (ERTW) Program, improve First Aid reporting mechanics, and conduct thorough accident investigations. We develop incentive safety programs and complete comprehensive property risk management reviews.
Accounts Receivable Management
We proactively install protocols and processes (including real accountability systems), which consistently deliver results superior to industry standards. Our goal is to minimize write-offs and to maximize cash flow via these aggressive programs. Our owned properties have Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) of 25 or less vs. an industry standard in excess of 35.

Accountability
We are proponents of accountability. This starts with knowing in a timely fashion what is driving your business. We do not believe in waiting for monthly financial statements. Instead we have developed a series of dashboard or key indicator reports which compare actual performance to planned performance in the major areas or drivers of your business. This would cover revenue and expense drivers.
Insurance Procurement
The Hamister Group, Inc. will help you select the most appropriate insurance at the lowest short and long-term cost. We evaluate loss runs, complete property/site reviews, and obtain ISO (Insurance Service Organization) reports in order to evaluate potential safety hazards.
Corporate Hotline
The Hamister Group Corporate Hotline is a confidential grievance outlet for staff, residents, and families. We have found that by providing an outlet to express complaints against unfair or inappropriate actions staff members do not always feel the need to go to an outside agency for relief or simply to be heard. This resource is also used by families and often appeases their desire to go to an outside source.
